I was sitting in evening shade, watching the sun wander away, when one by one the little lights of my town came winking on, like hopeful eyes, peering out of the shadows. I felt the wisdom of Spirit wrap around me like a shawl: in even the darkest transitions the light remains. I walked home in hope, watched by windows glowing in the dark.
