I’m not remarkable!
An Apple video
I’m not remarkable!
So many people who live with a disability are considered outstanding for what we can do “even” with our limitations.
I, (and others who speak on this topic), agree that we can accomplish a lot even with our apparent limitations. This has more to do with our drive to live fully in a world of possibilities. There is a certain level of creativity that knows no bounds and a determination to achieve one’s goals and from it has grown a disability culture.
It’s not about being remarkable- it is about a part of this large, diverse world. It’s about bringing all of our creative ways into the big mix to make a stronger more vibrant community for all.
Thank you, Apple, all the students/family/friends who made this video possible. And a big thanks to Andrew Pulrang who shared it on his recent blog.
