a little more info for those who are curious…

IMG_2491As I follow this path on life’s journey, my blog highlights week-to-week thoughts, prayers, and resources I have discovered and hope might benefit others. I am a retired and Episcopal priest who loves to be creative through writing, listen to music, share life with friends and family, and travel. I greet each day with a deep breath and I stay alert, reminding myself of life’s gift.

This is my personal blog, and therefore the opinions I express here are mine, and mine only.

Most important — this is a place of invitation for insights and reflections to be shared with other seekers. When you close your eyes, may there be an image quiet and open for refreshment and renewal.

When you are ready — may your bench have room to share.

    1. Amy,
It makes me smile to know this is a place where we connect. Thank you for your kind words.

Alleluia! Wow – been wanting to say that for so long… and today it rings across the world. Blessed Easter to you and all of your family.

      Peace, Carrie

  2. Hi Carrie,

I read your article on Sharon Pearson’s blog. I’d love information about reading the entire Gospel of Mark in one seating. I am a seminarian and would like to do this with a group of people at my church.

    Thanks so much for sharing.

    In peace and gratitude,

    1. Hi Wendy!

Thanks for writing. I would be happy to share more information about ‘The Reading of the Gospel’. I will send a note tomorrow through your email address. We can chat from there.

  3. Carrie,
I have missed you so! Thinking of you! It is truly God’s hand that led me to you, then and now! Hearing your words is like hearing your voice. A wise and wondeful voice of a dear friend! It looks like all is treating you well! Hope to hear from you!
    Love and Peace,

    1. Connections and re-connections… Hello Jennifer! These days I am never surprised at the people I am seeing once again after too long. Thankful for my ‘bench’ and that you found me. Peace to you

    1. Hello! Not surprised to say you have been on my mind recently. I am well. Happy in Asheville. Glad you visited my ‘bench’. Lets reconnect by other means – email the same?
      Peace dear friend.

  4. I’m enjoying this time “on the bench”, Carrie. Thank you! Trying to find Steven Charleston’s Facebook page. Is there a link? Blessings, Lynn Rundberg
